The MI Burn 00 Black competed in the state cup round of 16 and quarterfinals this weekend in Saginaw Michigan. The girls defeated Rochester 4-2 on Saturday and the Michigan Hawks 1-0 on Sunday to advance to the Semi Finals. This is quite an accomplishment for the girls, the team and the club. Last year the 00 black team lost in the quarterfinals of state cup. Now less then a year later they are back and even one step farther being the only east side team to make it through to the semi final.

A majority of the 00 Black Girls have been with the Burn since they were 10 years old. With the addition of some quality players at tryouts, a great training program, and a dedicated coaching staff, the team has proven they are a top tier team not only in the state, but in the region and country.
