Congratulations to the MI Burn 04 Black Girls on being Finalists at the prestigious Mead Cup! The girls faced their toughest competition in an outdoor tournament playing in the 8v8 Fivestar Division. After defeating both Grand Rapids Crew, and Challenger Crew, the team earned their way the semi finals on Monday against in state rival MI Jaguars. After a twenty minute overtime period the MI Burn 04 Black girls came through with the 6-3 victory against the talented Jags team. The final match our skilled and speedy MI Burn team against a strong and physically BSA Celtic team. In the end the strength of the Celtic was a little too much but the girls played a great game and a great style of soccer the entire weekend and was fun to watch! Congratulations to all the players and parents on a great tournament weekend!
